Those having the possibility to visit the bank or its representative office in person will need to show the bank specialist his or her valid passport.

To complete your account opening remotely, you will need to |

fill in and sign the account opening paperwork. Please contact our client service,
mentioning your citizenship and the country of residence to get the paperwork
and completing guide. It is convenient to contact our client service using
the account opening form. You are welcome to

get your specimen signature on the bank form notarized by a NOTARY PUBLIC, and
certified with APOSTILLE (or LEGALIZED, for countries that are not members
to Hague convention). Notarization has to be made in English or, should
this be impossible, officially translated into English. The notarized and apostilled
(or LEGALIZED, for countries that are not members to Apostille Convention)
passport copy also has to be provided;

mail the paperwork to the bank;
|

|
pay the account opening fee (see below).

The account opening costs consist of:
- the account opening fee ($50);
- the online banking tool chosen. For fax banking
and unrestricted online banking,
Parex banka provides a Digipass signature calculator ($50). For restricted
online banking with LVL 5000 or other currency equivalent one-time
limit and LVL 15000 or other currency equivalent daily
limit, a Code Card (a plastic card with a set of fixed authorization
codes) is offered free of charge to owners of normal private accounts. To learn more about online banking, please visit the online banking section;
- debit card issuance is $50 (optional);
- courier delivery of the account package is at least $50.
So, for instance, a light account set (account + restricted internet banking with code card + delivery) costs $100, whereas a full set of account + Digipass + debit card + delivery costs $200.
