Parex faktoringas ir lizingas UAB was established in June 2003. The Company started its business activities in 2004 and at the end of the year the leasing portfolio had already grown to EUR 16 mln. In 2004, it was the fastest growing leasing company in Lithuania. The main activity of Parex faktoringas ir lizingas UAB is to provide financial and operating lease contracts for private and commercial transport, industrial equipment and machinery. As a form of financing, leasing is an important contributor for the growth of the whole economy of the country. It is a very effective means of obtaining financing for small and medium enterprises and for risk management. Thus, leasing encourages the establishment of new enterprises, the expansion of small and medium ones and contributes to the rise in the employment. The mission of Parex faktoringas ir lizingas UAB is to offer top quality service to its customers. This may be illustrated by the increasing number of customers attracted to the company through joint sales promotions with its business partners, who are the major car and equipment dealers in Lithuania. Recognition of the Parex trademark is maintained not only through attractive loan terms and conditions, but also through the Company’s highly developed strategic approach towards its customers, sales promotions and the respect of its business partners. Parex faktoringas ir lizingas UAB used the expansion of its operations as the platform for its development in 2006. The Company is committed to offering new types of finance to its customers and to broadening its range of goods and services, as well as optimizing the service distribution network by educating new customers and business partners on the advantages of financial lease agreements. On 29 June 2007 AB Parex Bankas (Lithuania) signed an agreement with AS Parex Banka (Latvia) concerning the purchase of the shares of UAB Parex Faktoringas ir Lizingas.
