Parex Group: Insurance

Parex Group provides insurance services since the establishment of Parex Insurance Company in the August of 1994. In 1998 Parex Insurance Company became a shareholder of the Lithuanian insurance company Baltic Polis.

In line with the Group's strategy to focus on the core business of the Bank – financing of corporate and retail clients and administration of investments, Parex Insurance Company as well as its Lithuanian subsidiary were sold to the Norwegian insurance company Gjensidige Forsikring on March 2006.
