Parex Asset Management Russia (PAM Russia) is a 100% owned subsidiary of Parex Asset Management Latvia. The license for fund management activities was obtained in August 2005, and at the end of the same year the Moscow office was opened. The mission of PAM Russia lies in efficient investment of the clients’ funds, putting the main emphasis on capital preservation as well as capital appreciation through tracking the best investment opportunities in Russia. Our approach is based on professionalism, investment process transparency and extensive experience in the financial markets of Eastern Europe. Our aim is to provide clients with exposure to the attractive Russian market through our physical presence in the region. PAM Russia offers a complete range of services, provided by Parex Asset Management Latvia as well as its own products. PAM Russia obtained a licence to offer personalized portfolios to its clients at the end of 2006 and currently manages over RUR 300 million, including 3 proprietary mutual funds:
Parex Bond Fund’s aim is capital preservation while achieving the highest possible return at low level of risk. The investment universe lies within Russian corporate rouble dominated bonds. Fund’s assets predominantly consist of second and third tier fixed income instruments with maximum diversification across industry sectors. In November of 2006 PAM Russia opened a representative office in St. Petersburg and now offers services to customers from the second largest city in Russia.
